Afternoon all,
In the process of learning how to use all the Pro settings on my phone camera, I'm about to start taking some photos and video of stuff, all fairly short range (30cm to 10m) indoor scenes of people demonstrating things (think first aid, workbench tasks, furniture building, meeting presentations), but I'll often have to be in the shots myself.
I have a Joby GripTight Microstand, but it's tiny and too limited.
I'd just like some advice on avoiding the absolute worst stuff on Amazon and finding something suitable for intermittent entry-level use. As I'm just getting started and don't know if it's something I want to invest heavily in just yet, I'd like to keep it fairly cheap at this stage, around the £30 mark for each one.
I need would like a couple of tripods - A tall-ish one around shoulder height that I can just set up and leave static... and a smaller one that I can both fix to various surroundings like a gorillapod/octopus-pod and that I can easily grab and move around a bit in the middle of filming.
Both need to fold up and fit in/on a small 20-30L rucksack.
As I have to be in some of these shots, any advice on a suitable phone remote for the S21 Ultra would be appreciated, too - I guess I need shutter release function for pics and start/stop for video... but if it can do any other things, like zoom, mode switch or something, I'm all ears.
Are there any gimballed phone mounts worth buying at this stage, perhaps?
