I’m looking for recommendations on basic video editing software. Something either free or cheap.
I just want to edit out short clips from a long AVI. I have tried Windows Movie Maker, but it seems to make doing this unessacerily difficult. All I want is to select from point A to point B in a large AVI, and copy and paste it into its own clip and save. WMM just has some silly “split” function, which cuts the vid in 2 at that point.
I will probably use WMM to put the clips together and add a soundtrack, but the clip editing is really annoying.
