Hi, I am looking for a basic spec for hosting a windows server. The needs are:
1. 2x WD Red HDD 2TB HDD that will use Windows raid.
2. 1x 256GB SSD for OS partition.
3. Plenty of bays for extra HDD's down the line.
4. Gigabit LAN.
5. 4 RAM sockets.
The server will be used for hosting internal websites (apache, MySQL, PHP) some large databases and user folders for regularly accessed data. Approx 10 users in total.
Budget is < £500 or as close as possible. My best try with an Intel I3 came to £517.
