Recently bought a set of the above speakers from a competitor. Reviews seemed to only praise the unit and seemed perfect for the occasional music listening.
The first 2 weeks went great, clear crisp highs, very decent bass and "just there" mids.
Recently however, the bass seems to have gone haywire. It sounds very "airy" and loose. Even worse at higher volume levels and just doesn't sound as defined and precise. However it sounds fine at lower volume levels
What could be wrong? I tried another sound sources and different cables.
