Batch video converter

Hi Folks,

Can someone please point me in the right direction to a good batch video converted.

Basically my HHD space is running low due to hundreds of family videos. These are big in size and after a few tests with Handbrake I realised I can shrink them to 10% size with no visible loss of quality.

Problem is there are hundreds of folders and its taking a long time to go through each folder.

Is there a program that can convert entire folders including sub folders, and replace the old file with the new converted file, to save me deleting manually?

This would save me many many hrs!

Thanks

Try Any Video Converter Free, does its job great, moreover, besides batch converting offers other features like video editing and burning.
That's the one I use at work for most things (also use Adobe Media Encoder (with or without Premiere) and Handbrake, depending on what I'm doing). I've always felt it's been never great for quality*, but fantastic for just blitzing through a load of videos or stripping out the audio (so long as you want them all the same size/rotation/etc).

At home, for TV and the likes, I tend to use Handbrake.

* There may well be no truth whatsoever in that and is probably solely based on the speed with which it works and the look of the software - I've never done a comparison and I probably should before spouting such 'opinions').
