My house is currently on the market and the bathroom ceiling looks awful. I repainted it around 2 months ago but I'm not happy with the results. The bathroom itself is small with no expelair and only a small window to let the air in. It's used around 3 times a day on average and the window has been left closed over the winter because of my 6 month old son as not to let the warm air out.
I have noticed the paint has yellow splodges on it, these are quite oily so I presume it's coming from the paint itself. I used notmal dulux Matt white for walls and ceilings. In addition its slightly peeling in random places as well although this is only minor. I can only assume either I didn't mix the paint properly (it had been used and stored in the garage for 6 months) or its not suitable for a room with so much condensation.
Any tips/advice? I'm keen to redo it as its one of the few imperfections and I want someone to feel as if they can move in straight away.
