You know all the IP44, IP67 ratings they put on lights and extractor fans etc.
I'm trying to find out if an ip44 inline shower extractor fans motor will create a spark. I would imagine it would not being ip44 rated and has to deal with very damp air passing over it?
The reason is I want it to extract sprayed paint fumes/vapour So if the motor sparked it could be dangerous.
I have been told that a brushless motor will not spark not sure if this is correct though.
Any advice?
