Bathurst 1000 2016

Finally got around to subscribing to Superview, been meaning to do it all season since Supercars coverage dropped off Motors.

One off £25 payment and I can watch the whole season. Currently got the Clipsal 500 on and will switch to the live Bathurst feed later
 
The superview is great. I've been following it all season now and it's taken over from F1 for me. Absolutely cracking race. Closest finish in the history of the race. I'm a big McLaughlin fan so was hoping he'd win it but Whincup put an end to that one.
 
Couldn't quite make it through the night last night so just caught up the the finish.

Didn't get to see how the order got mixed up at the last pitstop, the Superview rerun skipped straight from cars behind the safety car with Whincup leading and McLaughlin in about 5th on lap 138 to being on lap 144 after the restart with Scotty second and Whincup in ablut 4th.

Shame about Scotty, as i drive a Volvo as my daily I always want him to do well. Whincup is just a **** I think that's the third year in a row he's thrown away a win here through a brain fade on his part.
 
As I was bike racing this morning I didn't try my usual stay up to watch bathurst buy fall asleep within the first 20 lap failure. Been on the sofa since about 1.30 with a few breaks for actually being in the real world and finished it about 9.30. Another cracking race but was quite quiet until lap 110 or so.

Safety cars breed safety cars. For a driver of whincups quality he really does make some big mistakes at bathurst. Good to see will Davison and johnno Webb winning it, especially after he did the 12hour earlier in the year. Going to be a good end to the season. Hope svg seals it!
