Batman arkam city goty and input string error

Got this as a download from GAME on Friday night to play over the weekend. I'm getting "input string not in the correct format" error.

what is this all about and does anyone know of a workaround fix or anything?

I just gone though 19 pages on batman arkham city forums and found nothing on a fix.

I cant find any thing what you just posted on google apart from this you tube vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXlCoPs9ZRM I'm going to try that in a bit

Try installing the game as an admin:

1: Find the file called "Batman_ArkhamCity_Setup.exe" (this is what my gamefly.co.uk installer is called).

2: Now right click that file & run as administrator.

Try that but before you do ensure you have the latest GFWL Client & dot.net installed. (visit windows update is faster).

thanks, everything updated and setup.exe ran as admin still getting input string error

Fixed!
moved the installer folder out of g:/program files to g:/bmacgoty. Apprantly the installer gets upset because of the 'space' between program and file
