Batman Arkham Asylum problem

Hey folks...

Now that iv got time on my hand decided to play batman. bought the game on steam back in xmas.

So i decide to play it, gives me the option to change settings etc. moment i press "play" It loads up but get a black screen then crashes to desktop.

Any idea's? And yes iv deleted it once, and re-downloaded, verified the file or what ever it is on steam. Drivers are upto date.

You tried fiddling with the settings? Setting things to lower graphics perhaps?

That i havn't tried. Will give that a go later on today.

Make sure you have downloaded/installed the latest GFWL client from MS:

http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-GB/download/

Also, ensure your firewall allows both the Batman AA.exe & GFWL Client.exe through as some firewalls block & do not give you a message to say allow!

Thanks for that. Your post helped. GFWL needed updating and needed to sort the firewall out aswell.
