Batman Arkham Asylum steam question

Hi guys,

I was thinking of formatting my computer this evening although I wanted to some how keep my save games from Batman, I'm too far in to do it all again

I've looked in my steam folder but cant seem to find where the save games for batman are (it doesnt seem to be an obvious folder like 'save')

does anyone know what I have to back up to keep my saved game?

Pretty sure its in the GFWL live folder but you need to back the whole thing up, really should find something better to do with your time though tbh

All you need to backup is this folder...
C:\Users\<name>\Documents\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum

After the reinstall place the game save folder back into the correct location.
Load the game up (the game save will not work at this point), start the game and then save it after the intro bit. Close the game down.

Open up C:\Users\<name>\Documents\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum\SaveData directory you will notice a newly created folder with a really long name, copy the name and rename your backup folder (which will be contained in the same folder).

Obviously delete the newly created save at the same time so you can rename yir backup.




I have done this twice now using the above method and its been successful
