Batman: Arkham Asylum

Ati peeps can set up AA goodness by renaming the BmGame.exe file to ut3.exe

program files (x86) > eidos > batman demo > binaries > BmGame

Liking the game so far, unfortunately been having random problems where I can't play a few games in full screen it causes it to flash between the game and the desktop and I have to restart/log off to stop it doing this.

I played at 800 by 600 windowed mode while chatting to my mate on msn about it lol Not too bad so far.

Hoping a jump to Windows 7 will stop the random errors for full screen gaming =/

Looks and plays great, but 2 gig download for about 10minute playtime is a bit harsh.

Yep, totally excessive for the playtime.

Seemed ok but just really felt like another generic beat em up in all honesty with some stuff tacked on like the detective mode, great production values though.

I don't know if I'll be buying it yet.

You don't have in game display options, you need to load the settings launcher first. You probably have physx turned on which will drag Ati cards to hell and back.

awesome demo. Definitely will think about getting the full game :D

the production values and animation are really top notch. Just needs the Batman begins/Dark Knight soundtrack instead of the non descript score they have currently.

Ah that must be it, cheers.

Unfortunately the launcher doesn't work properly:

Microsoft .NET Framework

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Value was either too large or too small for an Int32.

Seems to be a known issue and I found a fix to get into the game by using three custom .ini files but cannot launch the settings launcher so it's still unplayable. :(

I hope this isn't another beautiful game ruined by bugs, it does look really good.
