Ah yes, the same as the console version limited edition then. You unlock it after finishing the game anyway so I wouldn't worry too much, it's hardly special.

Same. Jersey place seem to have "male genitalia"ed up. I don't get asked to patch or anything. Just lets me play, I haven't had to input the activation key either. I did patch my Windows live the other day when I played Streetfighter so who knows.
But still I would have chosen a different unlock. I still want what I ordered.
EDIT: Just tried to log into live in game. Requires the code and a patch.

Lol you don't have the game so can't really comment. It was officially released on the 15th as per the Eidos forums and that is when the patch was made available for download to enable physx. Mine arrived on the 15th but the servers were overloaded and I couldne get the patch.
As posted by me numerous times the patch is 280mb and takes bloody ages to download and even failed on me a couple of times. Once it downloaded the version was v1.1 up from v1.0 and I could turn on PhysX.
I played it all last night fine.

The DLC code for the bonus content was in the retail box. Its only the free DLC everyone on every platform gets today anyway. On PC this is via GFWL to deter pirates. Also be aware that the retail DVD-Rom version has no activation limits you can install as many times as you like on as many PC's as you like but obviously you can only play once on the same LIVE access key.
All the digital download versions are limited to 3 installs even Steam is limited to no more than 4 reinstalls per month (for all games apparently on the service).

Still installing I will get back to you later (just got RE5, Batman:AA + RFG all at once to install). Joker is definately PS3 exclusive as Sony paid a lot of money for that apparently but the other DLC is free to all legal copies. Mine says Villain challenge map on the box then the code card in the box says exclusive access so I presume this means early access but Eidos were so happy with the sales they let eveyone get this so none of the exclusive pre-order bonuses are obviously so anymore as today they are available to all (except for the PS3 Joker stuff).

Only need the key code when you log into Live, and when you do login, it should come up with an update, when installed, should bring all that PhysX stuff (i have it on Steam, its all there).
the only problem is,That i log on but no screen with the key,I will have to try later.
I have mine installed now. You need to do the following to get the patch & DLC (which you need a valid code for it should be in your box if it was a pre-order bonus otherwise you will need to wait).
1: Sign into GFWL with an online gamertag profile (you can use your 360 if you have it and the ahchievements will go onto that as well) then it will ask you for your activation code & start to download the patch (which takes about 5 mins as 27MB ish in size). This then adds the physx option if your an Nvidia user only.
2: Then after the patch installs and you launch the game again the GFWL menu has an option to enter your Redeem code and then you can get the DLC which is around 126MB.
Whole process takes 10 mins top then you have the fully patched game and DLC all ready to go.
Eidos are restricting this to legitimate copies only which is why you have to do it this way as its a new form of DRM control to try and limit piracy.
There are no polite words to describe PC gamers who can afford to spend ££££ on hardware but refuse to support the games they need especially when they are AAA titles like this is and dirt cheap

Online profile or offline ?
Hit your Home keyboard key or the guide button on the 360 controller this will bring up the GFWL interface and when you try to connect to live it will prompt for your live access key and after that you will gain access to the DLC & patch as both are controlled by this to ensure legal copies only get the content.
