12 hours of gameplay if you want to complete all 240 riddles, much less without. Really doesn't warrant a full purchase. I would finish it in 2 days so may as well rent it.

Looks great. With RRP going up games with no MP should be cheaper.
 
Just played thru the demo on the PC.
Combat is nice and fluid, some of the takedowns look great.
the lack of a jump button had me puzzled until I got the detective mode prompt lol

Looks and feels fantastic.
Liking the darker style batman also.

PC version for me I think
 
I wasn't overly hyped about this although I enjoyed the demo (so short though!) but now I've just been told I'll have a copy to play by Tuesday, I'm quite hyped up :D
Hope it's as good as reviews say.
 
Received some good news on what has been a crappy day, my copy has shipped! :D

Hopefully will receive it a day or so early :)
 
Going to pick this up on release day. I have the day off so I will be able to play it lots all going well!

I don't think there will be much playability however. I think after one, at most two plays through, I will swap it in for Fifa10, or something similar.

2 days! I don't think I have ever finished a game in under 2 months.

Does that include breaks for the nappy changes you now have to do? :p

Little man is 13 weeks this week and I've still not changed one :p

As I keep saying to the Mrs I already have a job, so she gets the pleasure of staying at home. Don't expect me to change nappies on my days off :D

When she gets her **** back to work I will start changing nappies. Until then it's Rockband ;)
 
def one for me, playing the demo sort of has a splinter cell feel to it! they should have done like a hide and seek mode with good guys and villains for multiplayer though!;)

i cancelled mine, due to (supposedly) card case instead of metal like the americans get, and crappy plastic batwang and general poor-quality contents of the CE.
 
~~Ive just cancelled my CE after reading that comment about the crappy plastic batarang and doing some quick research, i had hopped it would be metal, as i collect ( or should i say) used to collect bladed weapons before the law against buying katanas.
 
Woot mines despatched and Ive got a week off next week - will be playing this and Uncharted 1 next week and get some decent SP out of the way.

Any links to confirm the CE issue? Tempted to import it just because how cool the batarang is...

My £22.46 copy despathced yesterday. I still can't believe they honoured it, I almost always get screwed on such deals!! I fully expect it take the maximum of 5 days they say for delivery but for that price I cannot complain.

Anyone who gets their PS3 version today, mind checking whether it unlocks the Batcave personal space in Home?

Edit:
Apparently you just have to play the game once and then load up Home (USA version). Dunno what the deal is with EU copy of the game/space. (I would guess some sort of delay or lame localisation issue will prevent us getting it, at hunch :)

What strikes me as interesting is how rumours surfaced that Eidos were giving special bonuses to reviewers who promised a score of 90%+, then GamesMaster gave a review of 95% allegedly confirming this, so people kicked off that the game must be rubbish.

Now it's getting blazing reviews across the board. As for me, I can't say no to Mark Hamill.
 
I had CE on order until I found out it was a crappy plastic..... bloody stupid.

I think I might pick it up 2nd hand. It looks fun but not 100% convinced. I think it is one I can wait for
 
Played the demo last night, liked everything except the combat system it just didn't seem very in depth. Really liked detective mode, very cool feature. I don't think I'll be buying this, definitely worth a rent though.
