Batman: Arkham City "key is invalid"

Just bought the game today and used the key to install it, which worked fine.

Opened up the game and I have to use a live account to be able to save the game etc. So I log in with my live ID and then I am told the key for it is invalid (it's exactly the same as the one I used to install the game!)

Anyone know how to get past this???

Yeh, post on an internet forum instead of contacting the games support...

yeah if you bought it, contact whoever you bought it from
im still waiting to hear from getgames, bought 4 games, got 3 invalid keys (for 3 different services infact)

ofcourse if you just obtained it, read comments on torrent sites xD

Uninstall game.
Sell Batman AC Games for Windows Live version.
Get money.
Put it towards Steam version of game.
Uninstall GFWL.
Send M$ an email telling them what a load of cack GFWL is.

But you still need to sign in to GFWL with the steam version

GFWL has to be the worst creation in PC gaming ever.
Would I be able to return a PC game though? I'd imagine they'd get picky with having already used the key for it.

I read that there's a patch for the game that supposedly doesn't use gfwl BUT I can't find anywhere to download it and the only way to get it apparently is when gfwl informs you of the update in-game after I've signed in. Which is impossible! :mad:
