I purchased this game from a retailer, not Steam and would like to know if I can activate it in Steam.

Would this work?

Google says no.

Chuck the key in and see whether it works or not.

Nope, retail version is terrible, cant activate on steam and need to have the disc in 24/7 to play the game. I uninstalled mine and bought when it was on steam sale.

Unfortunately not! I'm a bit loathed to buy a new copy as I already have it! If I can sell it, then maybe!
