Batman Arkum Asylum Issue

I re-installed steam and my games but instead of putting on c: i put it all in the d: drive which is a seperate drive not a partition,All my games work fine except batman which when prompted from the launcher screen to play my pc just freezes. I cant find anything on google that i can understand

The problem could be related to Realktek Audio, I remember that being an issue on release. Other then that it could be some corrupted game files but I'm not sure that would cause it to crash.
It also uses PhysX so check that your graphics card drivers are fully up to date, I would do this prior to everything else.
