I run it really well maxed out at 60fps even on my 780ti(= 980), but i have a 6700k and 16GB ddr4, and only play at 1080P

What if the game was just to good for the hardware at the time? Look at Crysis for example.

More Cpu core available today then two years ago. I don't think vega is helping that much. I think it's the 6 cores 8 threads I7 8700k doing the workload here.

Batman got removed from the store for months it was that broken.
Crysis had/has a terrible CPU bottleneck with it smashing a thread up to 99%

It's more now I have the overhead for the unoptimised code.

It's beautiful though - those rain effects!
