Quick question guys, i have installed the 5850 and its drivers etc. Now whenever i run Batman i get a .net framework error saying physx drivers are missing. I did update the game with patch that enabled physx and was playing on my 8800 before. Should i just install Physx drivers again and hope they don't conflict with ati's ageia physics drivers or do i need to re-install the game and then don't update it?

Thanks

You need an nVidia card present in the system for that patch to work. You also need the nVidia/PhysX drivers present for it to work.

So does it mean you can't play the game with an ati card? I was certain that if you did not apply the physx patch the game worked albeit without the effects in game.

I believe AA can be forced by renaming the game or something.

Physx can be enabled too somehow, but it uses your CPU rather than GPU - which since the game I believe is only single thread kinda hurts its performance.

The game works fine on an ATI card, all the physX data it needs should have been installed along with the game, if not you can try installing the latest physX software from the nvidia site.

As for AA with an ATI card you neeed to force it through CCC.

As dark angel said you can force physX to run on the CPU, but don't, I tried it out on my quad and it took my framerates from 60+ to about 20ish.
