Battery or no battery?

I use my laptop in the house a lot and wondering if it will damage (or lessen the battery life) the battery having it in all the time i'm using it, or is it better to take the battery out and use it just on mains?

When running on the mains it's better to take the battery out. Heat reduces lithium batteries' lifespan.

Of course, leave it in if it needs charging, but take it out when its finished.

Definitely remove the battery when it's not needed (assuming your notebook supports it). Reduces wear & tear on it considerably.
