battery pir night light

I have bought a home bargain self contained light and switch for the understairs cupboard, it is as powered.and has two led strips. About £3 or so plenty bright enough for the cupboard.

I was thinking having night light in the passage and stairs would be useful but it would have to be self contained power source, passive infra red. There are no power sockets in the landing.. similar brightness per light as the home bargain one will be fine, as I could space them out along the way. Does anything exist and any recommendations?

Does it have to be a pir? If not just use a grolight nightlight in the landing light fitting. Uses next to no power so just leave it on, adjustable, and will look neater.

I have them in my boys rooms and they're brilliant.

Have you considered changing your main ceiling light to a PIR one, eg
LOHAS GU10 PIR Motion Sensor LED Light Bulbs
I had looked at battery powered market leader Mr Beams, but reviews are so-so
above is not b22 fitment though and cannot set time-out ... lohas have guarantees though, and I like their regular smd led's
