Battle for Middle Earth 2

Myself and my corpates from EvE online have been playing this game for the past week. Its awesome! Anyone else here play it? If so, if you guys want to arrange a team match post here. We have 4 ppl who play it so anything up to 4v4. You can even use our ts server if you so desire.

Its a lot similar to the first one, but I love how you can expand and build you base anywhere. The goblins and dwarves are pretty cool additions too. I'm not a great fan of the ring hero's tho, too overpowered. We usually play with them off. We are semi-noobs so if ** a pro you will probably wtfpwn us.

its a cool game with a lot of nice additions, im prefering it to age of empires 3 currently.

I'm loving it at the moment and I'm more than willing to play. I have a headset but no TS account but I'd be happy to set one up. I play after 6pm weeknights online normally.

Has anyone tried some of the siege maps against online players? Defending Minas Tirith or Helm's Deep against 3 players, 1 Isengard, 1 Mordor and 1 Goblins is fantastic fun.

Yeah I tried defending Minas Tirith against 2 goblins. The key is to attack them first. You start with a lot of money, so blowing up a fortress quickly isnt too much trouble. I did that, but I built archers first and waited too long to attack. Also, the minas tirith fortress is really vulnerable to nazguls.

yeah i been looking forward to this one for a while now.

finally back in the UK later this week so will have to grab a demo and give it a shot.

has it bettered the 1st game ?

Im keen to get into a new rts- been playing WC3 for a few years but cant find any game that has as good support, allowing quick match up to challenging games and a good ladder. Tried DOW + seemed good game but most games take time to get started + often too laggy

How is BFME2 for getting challenging games started, is it laggy and is there a good ladder system??

Would love to give another RTS a go but ive been spoilt by the joys of Battlenet!
