Have you played a lot of Battlefield before this one?

Have to say I'm struggling dialling in the convoluted controller setup. Followed a few guides and I'm still unable to get ADS to feel right. I did play the beta briefly and that felt less wonky.

Another oddity is the occasional glitch or perhaps rubber-banding effect where I'm running forward and then seem to slide backwards several metres. Feels like a network latency / positional issue, even though I have a rock solid connection.

Somewhat enjoying it; I just wished they'd bring in the remade maps from BF2/3/4. Agree with a few points from the vid on the PC thread; what happened to dynamic lighting and levolution etc.

Playing on PS5Pro.

e: can the op or a mod change the title please (spell battlefield correctly etc).

I think it’s about finding a gun and class you like, learning the maps, unlocking a few things. It’ll come. Loving playing support, I die a lot but I contribute a lot as well. Meh, it’s just a lot of fun that’s what matters.

Is there a way of reducing power draw whilst sat in menus on this game? My GPU is drawing over 500W whilst sat in menus!!

I'd like to use some of that power towards boiling the kettle now and again, between games!

I don't know why games don't have a menu FPS cap. Not sure how "easy" the BF6 menu is to render, but setting a normal FPS cap will at least stop your GPU from pulling 500W to give you 500fps in the menu.

What weapon you like using with support class?

M4A1 I am using. Early days in that though but it seems pretty solid. It’s obviously an early unlock but I do like it now I am adding the attachments to it.

Most games do. This one doesn’t nor did 2042 which is annoying.
