Battlefield 1, 30FPS on GTX1070

Hi Guys,

wondering if anyone has a similar issue to me, i just updated to the latest Nvidia drivers and the latest BF1 update, since that my FPS has been through the floor.

I disabled Nvidia "Share" which improved it slightly from 25fps, turned off EA In Game, no difference.

I have also lowered the settings in BF1 which i should need to do with my spev pc:

Zotac Amp Extreme GTX1070
ASUS MAXIMUS VIII Hero
Corsair ram
I7-6700k
Corsair SSD

any assistance would be greatly appreciated, i basically cant play the game due to this...

What resolution are you running at ?

Wonder if you have mistakingly increased the resolution scale slider also? Ensure thats on 100%

Wasn't there a bug where 100% was actually a higher resolution than what you want to set?
I seem to recall 75% was actually 100%?

Having said all that, this may have been a Beta issue and now sorted.

The latest drivers are reportedly borked for Pascal.

Newer driver or hotfix on the way apparently.

I'd rollback to a prior driver.

Me too. AMD here and some maps are fine locked 144fps then one map is sub 80 with no players. Where it was locked 144 with 64 pre patch. Yay DICE

Also got big fps problems from the latest patch - have tried roliing back nvidia drivers etc, makes no difference

well in a way im glad its not just me!

I have the resolution set to 200% for better graphics and it was pushing 60FPS no problems on the restricted servers. dropped it to 100% earlier on and still no better, even went down to 50% and only got 35 FPS

must be the patches that have screwed it will rollback the Nvidia driver and see if it fixes it.

yep just had a quick play on a couple of maps and I'm getting drops to lower than I ever have before for me I'm down on fps for all maps ive tried!

Strange nothing bad happening to me on 1070 i5 6600k 16gb ram

Seems better performance than before in actual fact more fluid.

Just had a game and it's fine for me, but then again I use a 1080 for 1080p.

tried the drivers, its the patch, some maps just seem to have weird frame drops in places.
