Hi, i've just bought this game, and when i go onto the servers (via game spy, it says i dont have map installed)

Everytime i download the map packs (there are loads) you have you be registered and pay for thr download. Are there any free map pack download sites? If so which is the best map pack to get?

Half the servers are playing a mod called desert combat, it has new maps and its free, also did you patch the game, exept for desertcombat and some extra ea maps from patches, not much new maps are played, most servers are running stock maps...

Start downloading desertcombat (google desertcombat and ull see a lot of servers on desertcombat site, most of them free)...

In meantime, avoid servers with maps starthing with ''DC'' or have that in their server name...
