I had no idea BF1943 was out on 360 till I saw a video on YouTube.

Is it worth getting a points card for this? I used to love BF2 back on the PC. Played it quite a lot.

What do you guys think of it?
 
I am really enjoying it, the only problem is that there are only 3 maps and rotation is pretty poor, I always seem to end up playing the wake island map 3-5 times in a row.

For the price though it is well worth it, plus there will be the inevitable DLC in the future
 
3 maps 3 classes plus Air Superiority mode (which is imo boring) but for the price it's good and you get what you pay for.
 
It is well worth the cost imo. The map rotation is poor as already mentioned but they are pretty well designed in terms of how the game can flow and you can't really beat the good ol' Battlefield gameplay formula means it's always fun to come back to.

The only thing that bothers me about the game really is when you play in a party and it splits you all up for some weird reason. Besides that would be nice for an extra class or weapon or two but it doesn't detract from the game that much. Have a quick go at the trial and if you like it deffo buy it. :)

They have said there will be no DLC, as they are working solely on Bad Company 2 and have no plans at all to do anything more on B1943 other than a few bug fixes.
 
Worth the points imo. Pretty fun to play even though there's only 3 maps.

Can anyone explain the comms in this game? Has confused me for a while now as it rarely seems to work.
 
I picked it up the other day, gave it a few good hours play already, takes me back to playing battlefield years ago, would be nice to see a few more maps and a couple of other classes but as mention before as far as I know there wont be any other DLC, bit of a shame, wouldn't even mind paying for more maps and stuff.

Bugger, was hoping there would be DLC, I would be more than willing to pay for a few extra maps
 
I was hoping for some new dlc maps as well, there was even a poll on the EA site for your favorite BF1942 map shortly after the release of 1943.

Oh well got to get back into this, on 92 or 93 games right now, want to get upto 100 so I can happily sit back and relax while playing. Its sad I know but theres always this little voice in me saying 'go on get the last few games out of the way so you can get it 100% complete' would rather take a break for a few weeks so its fresh but that little voice is there whenever I switch on my xbox.

It is a good game though, a fun filled 15-18hours of play in 3-4 weeks is really good for me, especially for a PSN/Arcade game.
