Spec in sig, basically I hit AA to 4x and I hit apply and it changes back to "none" and it will pop up the message I need to restart BF2 to save the changes etc...

But thing is it keeps going back to "none" every time I enable it so its not letting me, what is the best way to force it? Nvidia CP or BF2 .ini configs or what?

Cheers.

I presume you have it set to "Application controlled" inthe nvidia settings?

If not, change it to that and it should let BF2 do what it likes.

Set it to zero in-game and force it to x8 or whatever in the drivers

You can do this but it can make the text in game look really funky.

It's better to set it to application controlled and somehow get BF2 to want to do it.

^Funny you say that, the text isn't funky in game but if I pull down the console its as if its pushed overlapping each other and its all blurred and a mess.

Anyway anistropic and AA are both aplication controlled. AA goes up to 8X and Anistropic 16X. Am I doing it from there or keep searching for game profiles etc or just enable it for the whole thing?

Same here, forcing it via Nvidia gave me weird text problems. Turning it to Application Contolled and setting it via BF2 works fine.

When you change the AA setting, change the resolution or refresh rate at the same time. When you click apply the program will apply both settings, you can then change resolution or refresh back and keep the higher or lower AA setting

^Tried that but it keeps turning AA off even if I do change it to 4x and change the res too, weird. Anyway I'll just force it on the NCP.

Also nothing serious but what is this:

All the sandbags were that texture, had it before once or twice but it went away, might just be a one off but what caused it?

It says restart for a reason, quit bf2 and when you restart it will let you change it. Has always done that for me :)
