The infamous "There is a problem with you connection" has driven me crazy.
I can't game anymore because it ruins my rounds.
And it's down to the wireless connection.
I run a wire down instead and it's fine.
Does anyone know what settings are good to change? I have 4/5 connection as standard, so my theory is that 1 of 2 things could be ruining my gaming career.

1. There are a couple of other wireless networks in my neighbourhood that my adapter can detect, and that these might be interfering with my connection during gameplay.

2. My settings are set to not allow enough data to get through to my computer in time, like a packet size or something? Basically like a fat man getting through a tight door frame.

If anyone knows any help because I really wanna play this game!

Oh yeh and we recently subscribed upto 10meg and it still happens 4-5 times a round.
Even if i disconnect the other 2 computers from the network, it still happens.
I'm going to read this wireless guide thread now, hopefully find some luck in there :)

I had the exact same problem.

Had to disconnect and use Wired. :(

Wireless is just not advanced enough yet tbh.

I'll be watching this thread for advice, though!

tomorrow eh?
yeh ive heard people say it's the patch before.
but i had this problem all along.
i waited thinking the 1.3 patch would fix it.
but no.
but we'll see, ill get some games in tomorrow.

but could it just be battlefield is THAT demanding that too much info is trying to fly through the air, that wireless can't keep up?

i've been playing BF2 wireless through the same router/link on 3 machines at the same time up until 1.3 so I dont think its a wireless issue - I opened up the ports suggested and no problems.

something else to throw in...

i've been good at getting a decent packet sent received ratio...

for example this session i've sent 275,000 yet only received 175,000.

That's bad...right?

my lad has been on wireless from day one although we have put an extended Ariel on it and he has just told me that the 1.3 patch screws the connection and there is a bugged patch out and if someone has got that bug the server will crash and leave you with a problem with your connection on your screen but he also tells me that there is a new patch due tomorrow

hope this helps

i have wireless Super G 108Mbps and i can honestly say i have never experienced any of these problems sure i get the odd "There is a problem with your connection message" now and then and sometimes before all the tickets run out but nothing to actually stop me playing or ruin my round, there is a patch out tommorow. Well today actually as im typing this prehaps this will help with your issues :).
