Battlefield 2 disc unusable, what to do?!?

So my battlefield 2 disc is completely broke and unusable, should I :

(a). Buy another disc for £10 ?

(b). Use the £10 on a new to old'ish game i can buy for a tenner and if so what game?

(c). put towards the tenner and buy a spankingly new game and again if so, what?

Any advise is appreciated!
 
I hope this isn't breaking the rules...but... I was in exactly the same position as you last year when my copy was nackered. I , lets put it this way, got a copy of it....:cool:(still used my legit/real cd-key though).

And BF2 is a useless game to download as a pirate, cant play online - so dont bother! :D

Its perfectly legal to backup your software :)

It is illegal to download the software unless from an approved EA source. However even if you download a version and never buy it it is almost impossible to play online as it is the CD key you have from your knackered CD which is the important bit. I guess you could ask EA to send a new disc as yours is faulty but a download of an unhacked original disc shoudl work as it is the cd key that matters
 
:sigh: You've come on here for some kind of moral reassurance about pirating yourself another copy, as hey if it wasn't your idea in the first place then your not a bad person, eh?

You've paid once, so morally not many people would give a ****.

It's up to you really.

I'll check it for the next 15min or so then I'm off to bed.

Edit: Ok I'm not off to bed yet but I'm guessing you can't access my trust or something anyway, never mind lol.

I was going to link them to a site but I cannot say what site or what it's for, just not a torrent site. :p

I also deny any and all accusations that it was to do with anything illegal, you'll have to prove it. :D ;)
 
I had a cracked disc too, used a so called highly illegal going-to-hell-for copy to install and use the SF disc for verification purposes.
