Battlefield 2 how to find out version?

Hi guys just trying to find out which version of battlefield 2 I am using, have installed 1.3 but the number in battlefield 2 top right hand corner doesnt say 1.3?

Is there a command I can type in the console?

If you've just installed 1.3 i would imagine it would be version 1.3. Try connecting to a server and see if you get booted.

Don't worry about the version number at the top of the screen not displaying v1.3. I also asked a while ago and i was the correct patch.

Go into your game directory and locate the Readme file, it will tell you what version you have installed.

Thanks guys, just checked the readme and it is 1.3. Could also join one of the official EA UK servers.

I have been having a few problems with this game as the mouse is very jerky, damn difficult to aim.

Whats the spec of your system you are running it on?

Core 2 DUO E6600,
7950 GX2,
2GB PC6400 Corsair DDR2 RAM,
X-Fi,
Maxtor 16MB cache HDD with SATA II and NCQ support.

Only running at 1280x1024 as thats all my TFT will do, tried various options, even tried a different mouse and its still really jerky. I dont think the framerate is dropping tho as its pretty much clunk rather than drag if you know what I mean.

Well is certainly isn't becasue your system isn't up to running it that is for sure, it should play it no problem.

Don't really know what to suggest, is there an option somewhere to smooth mouse (I can't remember without looking) if so try enabling it may solve the issue.

Any other thoughs anyone?
