Ok I have recently upgraded and done a full re-install of windows and all programs.
However I was unable to re-install BF2 due to a scratch on the disk, so instead I put my old hard disk in a slave and had already exported the old registry before formatting, so simply editted the reg entries for BF2 so that it had the right paths and then entered it into my new registry.
No go.... everything works, but when I try to play I get "Your CD-Key is invalid" and it doesnt go.
I have tried a fix from EA forums that states to go to your BF2\support folder, run the Battlefield 2_code.exe and re-enter your CD-Key to update the registry.
No joy, same thing unfortunately.
Any ideas?
