Retail or steam

Hi After reading a lot of this thread i am now unsure if should buy this or not with these various bugs people are having.

Just few questions.

Is the singleplayer game bigger than MW2 as that was to small

Does anyone no what it runs like on a i7 cpu and 5870 graphics with the dx11 as this is what i will be running it on

Also should i get steam version or retail, reason thinking of steam version is will auto update but is it worth the extra with it being limited edition.
I seen normal version for £28 in asda and limited edition on steam for £35.

Are the bonus features able to be used in online and singleplayer mode.

Any advice be good thanks

Go for retail as it's cheaper. The game's launcher checks for updates and asks if you want to download them.

The game has quite muddy controls that take a while to get the hang of, running in directx 11, the game seems to have more input lag than in directx 9 but you DO get used to it, turn hbao off (and of course, vsync) as it makes the lag almost unbearable.

I got bored of MW2 singleplayer so I don't know how long it is but bfbc2 single player is short and uneventful, they give you something like 50 enemies to shoot in the whole game :D The characters are all wafer thin 2d ****s and the story is half arsed comic book guff.

You buy a game like this and the single player campaign is like bonus content, I saw it as that, wasn't expecting much and had quite good fun playing it through :D

The game is brilliant though, the multiplayer is class, having great fun on it. After you get used to the way it controls (and you will, so don't give up), it's really good.

As for performance, I have a q6600 @ 3.6ghz, 4gb ram, 5870, windows 7 x64 and it runs really well, it's a tad buggy at the minute, some flashing textures and the like, nothing game breaking but it is quite rough around the edges. I haven't seen my framerate dip below 50 and it's 90 per cent of the time above 60 and around 70.

MW2 took me 8 hours to complete were other mates and posts have read say took around 6.

Are you saying BFBC2 graphics look poor, i was thinking this might be first first person shooter could play that would show of my system lol and obviously online being fun as well.

Gameplay.com... £24.99 for the limited edition + 99p delivery.

I'm running it on a Phenom II x4 955 @ Stock with a 5850 running at Core @ 800 (so less than a 5870) and memory@ 1075... and it eff-ing amazing with every thing on (HBAO, etc) and 8x FSAA in DX11; > 60 fps; all day long.
So your machine will eat it alive!

Single player is cheesy but still a lot of fun.
Online is rocking my world.
The Ltd Ed bonuses are online only.... as an engineer I'm liking the vehicle bonuses but the bonus pistol seems the same as the basic pistol (to me anyway)... but I use the tracer dart for those bonus points (the tracer dart being a handy bonus item).

retail because you cant sell on steam copy if and when you get bored of it or move on to the next big thing

Cant see why ? I think you can create unlimited accounts as long as the cd key is valid ? or you can simply use the existing account details and then change the email addy and password ? I know you can create unlimited player names
