battlefield 2 x-fi problems

basically i upgraded from an audigy 2 and the diference is great, however in battlefield 2 when i select x-fi option in the menu and click apply it crashes....

shead any light on it?

setup is:

shuttle sn85g4
athlon 64 3200
2gb geil value
x-fi
x800pro
speakers: 250d megaworks

got it selected to game setting in console, just wondering what i can do?

and that sorts it does it mate?

mine is an oem x-fi if that makes any difference?

and it runs fine now then after the reinstall?

reinstalled it mate, nothing changed, did you get rid of all the files remaining? i saved the saved game options, but did a complete reinstall.

anyone else got any ideas please?
