Anyone else getting yellow textures sometimes in BF2?, then it CTD (coincidence?), I quit trying to get Arma to work properly and went back to BF2 and now I have problems with that too!!, damn this 8800 I wont be buying Nvidia again.

am using a 8800 gts and ive not no probs like this but my friend has a game and he has a XFX 8800 and he gets yellow textures like that he e-mailed XFX and they said it could be a problem with the card and the onboard ram running to slow or to fast thats cusaeing the graphics to glitch. what make is your 8800

I had this earlier today with my new card. EA know damn well about this problem and they say it's a driver issue with nvidia and not them.
But the solution I found was to set the settings to high in video and then put all dynamic lighting and shadows to low and turn off anything else to do with lighting.
And what are these new drivers like? Any improvements in performance?

I couldn't say cos I dont really check the fps unless I notice its slow but they seem fine so far, probably played about 4-5 hours and no yellow textures or any other glitches yet hope its not just temporary, really performance I'm not that worried about I'm just sick of all the problems I've had with stability with this card.
