just bought battlefield 2, downloading the 1.42 patch as we speak, all 600mb of it

are there any other files i could do with downloading for it whilst at it ?

wheres the best place to play ?

im a sniper if it helps, lol

fair enough your games can be varied to what points you get, but if you find yourself a good spot you can get some good kills!

thats the way to do it,
i used to get people calling me that on COD:UO, but my arguement always was if your getting lots of kills and no1 has seen you then why move!
what snipers are for!

Basically a MSN messenger for gamers, it keeps a track of what servers you have played on, you can store your favourites in it and it keeps a track of the time you play on each game.
Its well worth the download

Problem with BF2 snipers is that the snipers are so inaccurate, you will always be away from the action when camping, and when you move to the action, you will always run into a tank/apc or someone with a machine gun

hmm, i dont find the guns that inaccurate to be honest, as long as you allow for drop when shooting from distance etc, but yes your true as soon as you come up against anything but a sniper relativly close, your fooked....

I have one shot with the sniper then its to my trusty blade or pistol.

patched and ready to go weeeeeee!

my dual core isnt upto much tho, specs in sig, had problems, been running for 6 hours ok now....... not overclocked so dual 1.8ghz, when installing the patch i could only just use msn, not too great for 2gb of fast ram and a quick cpu......

does anyone find bf2 looks better on low quality than it does on high ?

btw some of the guns make me wonder, for example the USA anti tank mp5, i unload 50 rounds into someone from 80m away and they dont die, and the sniper rifle is only good close range.......which kind of defeats its point surely ?
