Just reinstalled this today and I have downloaded the patch but before i installed it i had a look at servers and there seems to be a fair number already there with the original version? Is it worth updating and will there be enough servers?

There will be a lot more with the latest version, are you sure the ones you are seeing are not just the demo servers?

Dunno lol just been playing a version there n it seems like the real 1 I used to play.. all the same maps n stuff !

re-installed it a couple of weeks ago, think i found around 3700(?) servers with patch, only 200/300 without patch, can't remember exact numbers tbh but definitly worth updating

loads of servers with the latest patch . though im sure some stick with original for clan purposes and so forth (?) anyway your best off updating even though downloading the patch can take a while as well as installing it. fixes to ctd bugs and connection issues have been addressed as well as other bits and bobs

Thanks for the info guys, had a sample of it before i install this huge patch and im glad i installed it again.. think the only reason i stopped playing was coz my old comp had broke n i stopped gaming for ages !

Exactly, BF2 is going strong, i play it daily, well nightly. but its a good game with half decent players!

I still play it, it's just a shame theres hardly any servers running euro forces because I love that mod!

make sure u click on ranked servers only, the number u see will drop,i still play regularly, mainly the TV2 dragon valley ,good set of lads/lasses n jus the odd cheater/spoilsports...
