So whats the latest? What patches do I need?

1.5 was just released. Keep in mind you need 1.41 installed beforehand though.
There can be a few hiccups in the installation of 1.5. I needed to edit my registry file with the correct version number before it updated it. Nothing a quick google won't fix though.
Keep in mind that since 1.5 a lot of the kiddies have come back and are ruining otherwise good servers as usual.
Still the same problems as before with half your team waiting for vehicles while the other half are out on a hill trying to snipe a spawn point. Find a decent server and you should be okay. I've yet to find any great ones but I found a few semi-decent ones the last time I played.. can't remember the name of them for the life of me. Someone else will know. There's a big BF2 thread with server recommendations near the end around here somewhere.
