Does many people still play this?..are there populated servers?..

I know i could try it and find out for myself,Just gotta hunt down the disks somewhere.

Yes, there are plenty of populated servers and lots of mods available.

Awesome,Right ive found out my CD..its the Battlefield 2 Complete collection.

What do i do?

1)install just the plain standalone BF2 + patches to 1.5 then Project reality?

OR

2)BF2 +Special forces + Booster packs then update to 1.5 then Project Reality?

Didnt they drop support for the native multiplayer for thia game? Gamespy closing etc?
Do you have to use third party matchmaking software to find server or just manually enter them?
