Battlefield 2142 Freezes

Just upgraded my PC to an E2140 @ 2.8 Ghz, 8800GTS 320Mb, 2GB Crucial Ballistix and an Asus P5K. I used to play 2142 on my old PC but now on this new pc, whenever I join a server my game either freezes half way through load up or approx 1 min after joining. This maybe a connection issue with my wireless or Internet, but I'm not too sure. Has anyone else had the same problem and can you offer any solutions?

There's a hidden file in your BF2142 folder, called 'radial.cdb'. Simple delete or rename and a new one will be created, and your problem should be solved.

Have you updated Punkbuster manually?

I'll give it a try now and see.

Seems to work for now but I'll try again tomorrow to make sure.
