Just come across this on EA's forums if anyone ever registered the Battlefield 2142 game or DLC on their EA account you will find EA have now given you the BF 2142 Deluxe Edition as a download in Origin. In typical EA fashion you cant play the game properly because the EA servers don't exist. Yeah thanks EA.
However due to their being once a big mod community (and to some extent still is) behind BF 2 and BF2142 you can get a patch that unlocks the game fully for multiplayer on 3rd party servers.
