battlefield 3 - crash on start up

Hi, haven't played BF3 for long time and decided to give it ago (after couple months of BF4).

Game stops responding straight on start up (multiplayer and singleplayer) black screen and crashes.

I tried:
game fix via origin
uninstall and re-download game and all DLC's
adding game in to PB and couple tips from youtube, nothing helps.

Any ideas how to fix or what to do? Thanks
 
Are you overclocking your CPU? BF3 is more sensitive to that that a lot of games?

Presume you have latest Nvidia drivers for your graphics card? What version of Windows are you using?
 
OC should not be an issue as I use OC since day one, never had problems and yes, all up to date. I have done all usual "fixes", nothing helped yet. (w7 64bit OS)
 
im currently at 80% reinstalling the entire game after i cannot connect either,

real pain in the butt esp when i had free time this morning too play

Try installing punkbuster manually. You can check in Task Manager if PnkBstrB.exe is running? Sometimes it fails to launch.

Other than that I can't think of why a full reinstall didn't work.

You should removed any overclock and run everything at stock settings, try booting up the campaign also as that won't require PunkBuster / Internet connection / Ports (least we can see if it's them).

If the campaign doesn't launch shut down origin and download Outcome by NoFate (google it)

It will bypass Origin (I haven't used Origin since it's problems with BF4, you only have to launch Outcome once)

Also could you tell me if you are having troubles with any other games? Fresh install of windows wouldn't hurt either.
