Now I know theres a bf3 thread but this is a specific issue that'll get lost in the thread.

Both my brother and I are using Chrome and both have the issue that when we're in a party we don't get the join confirmation box if a host sets us to join. Likewise if I'm the host, I dont see who's still waiting to accept the join request.

My friend however is using firefox and his works fine, so I uninstalled flash/sonar and tried with firefox, it worked once.. briefly but never again since even with the same method of uninstall.

The only thing I havnt tried because I cba to faff around is to uninstall chrome and then install firefox/flash/sonar for something that isn't guaranteed to work.

I was wondering has anyone else had this issue?

I'm thinking its to do with chromes built in flash player or battlelog not accounting for it, though I really dont see why they'd be different!

I have this issue. I am using Firefox and my mate is using Chrome and no matter who is the host or who invites who nothing appears to tell you that someone has requested you join.

I think it is just Battlelog being a POS. Cant pick squads, cant party join. Its not going well on that front.

I found the answer, logged into EA forums and did a few searches.

Solution: Disable avast real time shields. Apparently linksomething with AVG is the fix too if you use that. Stupid antiviruses!

You may have to reload the battlelog page once after but it works for me!

Its not bf3.exe thats the issue, when you load battlelog.. the plugin it downloads isn't actually a browser plugin from what I can see.. I think its more of an overlay, as you cant uninstall it from the browser but you have to uninstall "sonar" from the program files.

You probably dont notice it but when you login to battlelog, bottom right where your maintained programs are.. there will be a new one icon'd bf3 or something, you cant miss it when you look.

"SonarHost.exe" seems to be the exe linked to that, so maybe try that. I havnt had a proper look as I need to goto bed but if theres just one exe that relates to it then that'll be it.. try look for similar if its not!

Also, found that after disabling my AV.. I had to refresh the webpage with battlelog open (just once) for it to refresh it and work properly :)

Hope that helps man, i'll check back here tomorrow if you're still struggling.. together we shall be victorious!
