Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Im looking for 3 people who would like to be a full squad with team playing people, i did this with bfbc2. 4 of us just kept playing together in a squad, we rattled up through the ranks very quickly. We played as 1 medic 1 rcon 1 engineer and 1 assault on most maps, other maps it was 1 rcon 2 medics and 1 assault. Im hoping to do same with bf3

This is not a clan thing its just a time saver/socialgaming idea. Hopefully with in a week with a lot of squad helps we would have unlocked a fare amount in a single class.

mic not really needed, aslong as you spawn on squad members and we stick together the points will just keep rattling up!

Reason I didn't order from there, it's the cheapest place, they'll be sold out long ago on pre orders.

anyone think 6870x2 is worth it? does it need same drivers as crossfire or is it classed as one card? I want to get pc set up to enjoy bf3 eye candy. im a big kid really so like the graphics side.
also read that ultra settings on beta werent ultra and were just high does anyone know if that was true?

Yes it does seem to work although it wont login to Origin properly, it will still do the release date check. Hopefully means we get it on the 25th.

Apparently if you use a korean vpn then you can unlock it on monday at 4pm

log in to origin like you normally would... then switch to your VPN client for the usa and start the game.

it will then do the region check (one time only too unlock) disable your VPN and play. BF3 on the 25th...

thats the plan anyhow.

just remember you will be playing with a high ping (i assume as only usa server may be live)

I don't know how they'll be at launch but in beta the ping was as low as 80-90ms on some US servers. While not ideal it's certainly not too shabby.

Not sure if this has been posted recently but greenmangaming are doing the LE pre order for 29.99 - I got two copies, one for my brother and one for me but had to use seperate accounts.

Edit: editted the other stuff out so my brother cant google it like I just did..
