Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

I've not played this properly since around November 2011, and I'm looking to get back into it. Is the premium pack actually worth getting? Are there any groups here I could join and play with - I always found things went much better when you were properly playing with your squad over voice comms.
 
Aftermath is probably the best of the dlc releases. Armored kill and close quarters seem to have dropped in popularity. If you look around, you might be able to get it cheaper than on origin.

Does anybody else at all, get kicked from game with the reason 'connection to the server timed out'

i know there are hundreds of threads looking on google about this problem, and i have tried a few, but surely this has to be a problem on their side not mine. i don't get it often, but now and again it can be 2-3 times per game and then i can go a week without it. Various servers too.
 
Wow that Rambo assignment is hard! 5 multikills! The only way I can see it happening is with C4 but its quite hard. Close Quarters is probably the best way to achieve it but you get kicked for using C4!
 
Most of my recent multiple kills lately have came from mines or rpg's. The aftermath maps are brilliant for engineer class. You can often take out 2 or 3 players in one vehicle as theres lots of places to mine or ambush from.

servers are back up and that conquest server is full already, you guys don't waste any time.
edit - can someone kick the non-active members from the Platoon, as I can't join as it's reached full capacity.

Are you referring to CQ247? Server has been fine today. Think that was just an Origin error for some earlier.

I am at 4 of 5 at the moment. 3 of them are from transport. RPG on scout helos, C4 on AMTRAC etc.
