I can only tell that BFBC2 (Frostbite 1.5) already uses more than 1GB vram during multiplayer sessions occasionally. Bet BC3 (Frostbite 2.0) can use more than 1GB vram if maxing out everything.

I have 2* gtx280's ATM and I'm going to get the new 600 range nvidia GPUs should be around December, January.

Surely you wait to see what the card is like before stating you will buy it no matter what :P

For all you know the new radeon could be 50% cheaper, faster and it could flush your toilet too.

Or the Nvidia card could be the best, who knows.

Best to wait for banking on something.
 
I'm just going to wait and see how well it plays on my current rig and then decide if I want the upgrade after that.

yeah thats a very good point wait a week or so after release to see whats the next big jump for me.

would be nice as Iam going to get A new GPU for BF3 Hopefully Nvidia 600 range I have 500 Pounds atm burning a hole in my pocket :-)

Ps I currently have 2*GTX280's at the moment.
