Battlefield 4 Frame Rate Issue

Hello everyone

So I have recently decided to upgrade my PC a little bit to play all the new upcoming ''nextgen'' games. My old setup was:
  • Motherboard: GIgabyte Z68XP-UD4
  • CPU: i7 2600K (stock speed)
  • RAM: 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz
  • HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB
  • GPU: MSI GTX 580 3GB

I have played the BF4 beta on medium and I was getting around 60FPS on medium.

now I've upgraded to:
  • Motherboard: MSI Z77 MPower
  • CPU: i7 2600K (stock speed)
  • RAM: 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz
  • HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB
  • SSD Kingston HyperX 3K 240GB
  • GPU: Gigabyte GTX 770 2 way SLI
  • PSU: OCZ ZX1250W

So the problem is that I'm not really happy with the performance I get in Battlefield as my FPS drops down to 30 sometimes (ranges from 30 to 130 when I look up in the sky). Overall I get a huge jumps in my frame rate and from what I have read people run BF4 on similar rigs on ultra and get around 100FPS. I have tested both of my GPUs separately to see if one of them is maybe faulty but they work fine.

This is the usage when I run SLI

Can my CPU bottleneck the GPUs? Is this some driver issue? Please help!

Have you tried VSYNC OFF in game and ADAPTIVE VSYNC ON in Nvidia control panel ? :)

p.s I wouldn't take too much note of BF4 atm, it's plagued with issues :)

I have a 2600k and - 7970 and when it works, Bf4 averages 70fps on its highest settings.

Although my 2600k is at 4.5 Ghz.

Tried that and it doesn't help :(

I'm playing on 1080p and my avrage framerate is similar to GTX670.
