Unfortunately I have to work to a very limited budget, which means working with what I've got to get the best I can for very little

What is the budget? If you can spend £200 I'd get a 7950 and sell your 480, it would outperform 2x480s in BF4.

Look at HD79xx and R9 280X cards is my advice.
