Battlefield 4 With Controller

My son prefers to play this with a game controller, and mostly it works fine. However, on weapon selects and similar screens he has to use the mouse to select stuff or close the window.

Is there any way to get full controller support?

By the way, could I manage to get 2 separate save games going? It drives me mad how these devs only code for one save game.
