So i have a budget gaming build pc going (Thread) You will find it on my profile etc....Anyway.

It is based around 775 Socket As it's budget.

So what would be a good spec build for bf3 using 775 socket equip.

So would need mobo, cpu, psu, hard drive, gfx, Maybe a cheap ssd???

I have 4gb of corsair xms2 extreme ram modules DDr2 ram but i can get ddr3 if it won't work with the mobo.

Got no budget, And i know that the mobo, ram, hard drive will be second hand, But psu,gfx will be new

cheers Luke:D:D

A budget gaming build, but no budget?

Well, CPU will definitely be a Q6600 and OC it... should be able to get most chips running at 3.2GHz fairly easily. £50-60 2nd hand

Mobo wise I'm not sure tbh, I use a LanParty one which has 3x PCI-E slots in case I want to XFire/SLI whatever GPU I'm using. However I think there a couple of nice 775 ASUS ones.. the pro series I think. £25-50 depending what you go for?

PSU, I doub't you'll be using anything massive on it so a 500w well branded one will be perfectly adequate. £30-50 2nd hand or new. New probably £50 for a good one.

GPU I'd suggest perhaps a 5850 (2nd hand for £80) or maybe a GTX 280 (2nd hand £50). Or new prices you're looking at £70-80 for a 5770, so if it was me, I'd rather spend out £80 for a second hand 5850 for better performance.

HDD is whatever you like, if you feel like putting more money into it then buy a 64GB SSD and a 500gb storage perhaps. Purely depends what you'll be storing. My 160GB SSD in main comp and 160GB Sata in 2nd comp are adequate for me as I only play WoW/CoD and don't use itunes much.

Socket 775 is a budget socket now i would have said.

Oh i forgot, i want pci express 2.0 so i can get a gfx card for that slot and for the standard pci e slot i can put usb 3.0 in it :D
