BATTLEFIELD: Clan

Cool! Thanks mate - we're in the middle of sorting out our Teamspeak server at the moment but we are using one of our clan members server. What do you mean mate? You can't play the single player yet, won't be able to until 1st November. But what we are doing is smashing Battefield 4 beta which we've been playing since it went live this morning - we've had some awesome battles and its still going on! :)

I have been playing it for an hour - with my spec I am getting sub 10 FPS on 32 player maps. I am wondering how much of it is server lag though as the big servers are worse.
 
Ah right I see - what spec do you have? I have a fairly high spec and get around 50-70 FPS on the big servers. Thats with a 680, 16gb ram, i7 overclocked. It could just be the spec.

The minimum PC system requirements for Battlefield 4:

Dual core CPU (Intel Core i5 or AMD “Bulldozer”).
4 GB ram
Graphics card with at least 512 MB of VRAM and support for DirectX 10
30+ GB of harddrive space
Windows Vista

What way you guys measuring your fps after burner isn't working and the prefoverlay.drawfps1 isn't working?

It's in my sig, but I guess it hasn't shown up?

16gb ddr3
GTX 690
240GB Samsung PRO SSD (with 75gb free)

It should run like a dream instead it runs like a slug.
 
What drivers you using? If you haven't got the beta drivers get them on. If you are using them try rolling back to the official drivers. I haven't managed to work out which are performing better from the people that have posted so far in the main BF4 thread. There are people with lesser rigs getting far better performance though.

Let's not forget it's the first day of a beta, there are bound to be numerous problems.
 
Hmm yeah it should do really mate, I'm not sure what to suggest, we have a few members who are having similar problems and we can't pinpoint exactly what is causing it - have you updated your drivers to 331.40 beta drivers and see if that helps you.

The latest driver doesn't work at all, screen flickering black and back again on BF4, BF3, and random desktop.

I just installed 320.49 I will try that...

Fixed my FPS issue - 320.49 drivers + closing battlelog when in game. Runs at about 50fps constantly now I would guess. Everything on high.
 
Right finally sorted our TS out, sods law this kicks off as BF4 beta is out!



Plus had to get in the extra winners photo with me in it mwahaha
